The lesson here is that it’s a competitive landscape for care homes.
So every enquiry is valuable, and should be treated as such.
Moreover, the family making that enquiry will almost certainly be enquiring to other care homes just a few miles away.
So, if you want to increase occupancy you must have a strategy to increase enquiries, assessments and visits to your home.
Another warning.
If you want to increase occupancy at your care homes, one real battle is to get more enquiries from people who do NOT already know about you.
Based on 2023 research from 34 different care providers, Trusted Care found:
* 21.2% of care home enquiries come via google online search – whether paid or organic
* 26.6% of enquiries come via care home websites
* 15.6% via onlin directories
