🤩 Launching a new care home? 🤩
Here’s what you gotta do from a PR and marketing perspective
1️⃣ Get a clean, neat, eye-catching website that includes your home’s UNIQUE selling point, team photos, and video and live chat.
Get downloadable lead magnet features (can be a brochure to start off with), and photos (when you get them) of life inside your home.
Plus a news section.
2️⃣ Run an exclusive attend-by-invite launch event [yes, we’re creeping back to outside events again]
where more than 100 VIPs attend.
3️⃣ Get your care home manager to do “hyper networking” including inviting key stakeholders to dementia seminars, look arounds or special events
4️⃣. Write introductory letters posted via land mail to commissioners and local authority personnel
5️⃣. Get sparkling brochures [with high quality photos]
6️⃣. Secure regular media exposure where journalists write positive stories about your new home, what care you offer, and how many jobs you’ll be bringing (the press always love a “more jobs” story)
7️⃣ Send e-shots to all stakeholders
8️⃣ Get listed on care directories, such as trustedcare Autumna and carehome.co.uk
and pay for the “featured” listing on carehome.co.uk
because it WILL drive you more traffic
9️⃣ Get Google PPC up and running to drive more visits to your website from enquiring families proactively looking for care homes.
🔟 Get listed on Google business and Google maps
1️⃣1️⃣ Make sure your Facebook page is on fire fast because it will be lagging behind competitor homes.
1️⃣2️⃣ Use Facebook boosts and “accelerated engagement” campaigns to achieve (11) as above
so reaching tens of thousands people in your catchment area per month rather than a measly couple of hundred!
Do all of this and you’re going down the right track to a successful launch of your care home that will firmly put your care home on the map to attract enquiries.
